Emerging Web Development Trends of 2019

The world of technology is not what it once was. The prediction of flying cars was all wrong, but we have come a long way in terms of coding languages, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality that flying cars don't seem all that exciting anymore. Last year we saw some significant advances and even got to know Sophia (the first AI robot) a little bit better. 2019 is going to be full of exciting development trends worth talking about as well.

AI or Bots?

Artificial intelligence is the intelligence that machines exhibit to mimic human intelligence along with performing cognitive functions like learning, collecting and analyzing data, communication and making executive decisions in the face of challenging problems. Over the last couple of years, we have already been using artificial intelligence without giving it much thought I need the form of mobile phone assistants such as Alexa, Siri, and Cortana. These assistants help in navigation and performing simple tasks for you such as setting your alarms, making reminders and setting up meetings. They also offer you a hands-free experience by performing actions on mobile devices for you when your hands are occupied with the help of voice commands. With the help of Machine Learning (ML) artificial intelligence is expected to reach its goal shortly and ultimately can be empathic and have access to practical knowledge.

JavaScript

Over the last six years or so, JavaScript has been the most popular coding language out there. With its frameworks continuously evolving, it has much more to offer to the market. A few examples of this script would be software like the following;

· Angular

Google created angular to give way to the creation of frameworks more suited for app development. It is a fast app that allows for quick modification and replacement to enable unique development workflow

· React.js

This is a JavaScript library which is maintained by Facebook and several other developing companies. It creates highly interactive user interfaces for single-page apps as well as mobile apps

· Vue.js

This is an open-source framework used for building UIs as well as a single-page application. Vue's founder was a former employee of Google and has worked with Angular.js in the past

PWAs

Progressive Web Apps will be as much a part of 2019 as they were in 2018. These are modern web apps that load like regular apps but function on websites. This feature allows them to contain a lot more functionality than your average mobile apps. Due to their progressive enhancements, you get access to instant, reliable and an independent experience without any interference of caches.

Is there any web development trend that interests you in particular?
